Giolì & Assia’s journey with the Handpan started 6 years ago, while watching some videos of it played by some artist on the street, and they suddenly became fascinated by it.

The Handpan has always been considered an instrument related to meditation and purity, thanks to its deep and melodious vibrations. Therefore its use was restricted to a small musical area.

The challenge that the artists Giolì & Assia took on was to extrapolate this instrument from its context and catapult it into an electronic world. A musical oxymoron, the uniqueness that made the music of the two artists known to the world.

The duo started implementing this instrument in their music, videos and live shows in a really different way from anyone else before, adding electronic beats, bass, pads, synths and more drums with it.
For the first time the Handpan was not only a “meditation” and “calming” instrument, but it became an iconic piece for the duo, making them the first act, globally, to use the Handpan in an electronic way, on live show and in electronic music, becoming then a signature sound of them.

Reaching million and millions of views and people with their videos, the Handpan became a fundamental part of their musical journey, especially on all their dj shows around the whole world in the most renewed venues and festivals.

Since then the duo has been looking for the best materials, searching the best product possible to deliver the best quality of sound and durability especially to be able to bring it on tour and to be microphoned on stage.

Here is, where this journeys is finally becoming possible, after years of research, Giolì & Assia, proudly started their own signature Handpan brand.

Manufactured in Italy, the duo put all their live and artistic experience, to deliver and design the highest quality Handpan with a unique, and total different look from anyone else.
